The very popular History Channel show
American Pickers came to Winthrop to do some "western freestyling". Just as the show goes they found some great items and heard some incredible stories from "the people who have a history all their own".
While in Winthrop, Mike and his brother Robbie (Frank was back in Iowa) picked Winthrop's downtown iconic store the White Buck Trading Company and Museum. The great part is that the public is welcome to pick the White Buck anytime and enjoy their incredible old time museum. Be sure to stop in next time you are in Winthrop.

American Pickers were in town. Residents and Visitors alike love this show. It was an honor and a whole lot of fun to have them visit our town. No word yet on when the Winthrop episode will air on the History Channel but we will certainly update this site when we know the date.
